It was a usual work Wednesday. But, there was much excitement to the day as Thursday and Friday had been declared as holidays and it was going to be a four day long weekend. Maria, Parin and Eva had planned a vacation in the lap of nature for which they were going to leave tonight. This was the reason for an extra gleaming smile on the faces of the three girls today at work. They had planned to go to Lansdowne; a breathtaking hill station in the beautiful state of Uttarakhand. It was going to be a 7 hour drive into the hills. Parin was specially interested in capturing the beauty en-route so the girls had planned to travel back during daytime. Eva had bargained this deal by emphasizing that this way they would reach Lansdowne all fresh and energetic and they can catch up on the scenic beauty en-route while returning. After work Maria and Parin had already reached back to their flat and had already started finalizing their luggage for the weekend. The girls had made their own

Rajesh had been sitting on a wheel chair in the waiting area with a painful leg after getting an X-Ray of his ankle done. He was hoping for everything to be just alright as he had an upcoming presentation today and thereafter he had to travel for an important business meet. Rajesh had hurt his ankle as he had slipped and fallen over a flight of stairs early in the morning. So, now he sat at the hospital grumbling to himself about his idea of losing weight by running up and down the stairs that had struck him three days ago. "Seema" Rajesh called out to his wife "Hmmm.." she replied while scrolling through her phone "Just a minute, let me call the maid so i can ask her to come later." Seema got up and moved to the corridor as she made the call. Leaving Rajesh once again with his thoughts. Rajesh had been implementing his idea of running up and down the stairs and the past two days had somewhat gone well for him as he had been able to achieve this

Lost and Found...

It was a cool summer evening and Radhika was leaning out from her balcony looking down. There were young children playing in the park. She stood there looking at them and thinking in retrospect how stress-free life was as a child. Their giggles were stirring up the emptiness she was feeling within. She wondered how easy was joy and laughter and yet she could not find joy for herself. Radhika had been a very lively kid, the leader of her group of friends. Her days as a child started with her mother waking her up for school as she threw all her qualms to bargain missing school out for yet another day. None the less, she ended up going to school but that never deterred her undying love for a holiday and she tried all the tantrums each and every day. At school Radhika was a studious, naughty and talkative child. After coming she would finish all her homework and rush out to play with her friends. At school, home and in the playground she had always been a very energetic and ra

Missing Out the Moment....

At the airport..... Tara was rushing through the crowds trying to finish her boarding formalities so she could sit back and update others about her forthcoming travel. She quickly finished her check in and was now waiting in the lounge for her boarding announcement. Without wasting much time the first thing to be checked off her list for the vacation was to put up her selfie with a Starbucks coffee cup in hand with an update to let the world know of her upcoming trip with her girl gang. So Tara bought herself a coffee and sat in an appropriate chair to get the best view of the lounge, herself and of course the coffee in hand. *Click* And the next moment she updated her Facebook and Instagram acquaintances about her excitement. Soon the boarding was announced and she reached New Delhi where all her friends had planned to gather to catch an onward flight to Phuket. The recent commonality among all of them were their social media updates besides the mutual likes and c
